Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, El Calafate

Eco-Tourism, Discovery, Adventure, Culture

During your stay in Buenos Aires, we will offer you different angles to discover the Argentine capital: A traditional visit focused on monuments, an homage tour to the sources of the tango, and a cruise on the lake and the Tigre Delta. The highlight will undoubtedly be the stage in Tierra del Fuego, with its snow-capped mountains, lakes, and glaciers surrounded by wild, untamed nature, and Perito Moreno in the spectacular Glaciares National Park.

Day 1: Buenos Aires

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. We start in Plaza de Mayo, witness to the most important events of the country since 1810 and appreciate the incredible architecture. We continue to La Boca, where we explore its colorful streets due to the ‘conventillos’ and the famous Caminito street. Our last stop is Recoleta to discover the aristocratic part of the city, where Recoleta’s Cemetery is located. Back to the hotel. [D]

Signature Option: Dinner and Tango Show at Gala Tango

Pick up at hotel: 8.00 PM for a drive to San Telmo, the cradle of Tango. “Gala Tango” is one of the most exclusive tango venues in the city, due to its architecture and decor, in the French style of the 30s, with its Carrara marble bar and refined details. The a-la-carte gourmet 3-course dinner carefully designed by its exclusive chef will be as well a distinctive trait of the evening. Around midnight, return to the hotel. [D]

Visit Tigre and watch the main attractions while you listen to an audio track that will give you the necessary knowledge to understand the importance and history of each attraction. First, stop in Puerto de Frutos, the old port for commerce, which is now a touristic port, with free time to visit the fair, take pictures and buy souvenirs and crafts. Free time to have lunch on your own. If you wish, you will have the opportunity to visit either Museo del Mate, Museo Naval or Museo de Arte de Tigre. Then. Continue to the train station for a 1-hour ride to Buenos Aires along the South Atlantic coast. On arrival at Retiro Station you’ll be picked up and transferred to your hotel [B]

Day 3: Buenos Aires, Ushuaia

At due time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Ushuaia. In the afternoon, take a boat trip through the Beagle Channel, gaining an excellent panoramic view of the city surrounded by mountains. During the trip we spot Birds and Sea lions Islands, an interesting colony of sea lions. This offers the unique opportunity to see, at the same time, both South American sea lions and South American Fur seals, to understand their differences, and finally reach Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, from where the return to the city begins. [B]

Note: If it is not possible to take Beagle Channel boat trip due to arrival flight time, it will be modified for day 4.

Day 4: Ushuaia

Departure from the hotel heading west to Tierra del Fuego National Park, framed by excellent panoramic views of the Beagle Channel. A journey through beaver dams leads to Lapataia River and Verde Lagoon and then continues along the final stretch of National Route 3, which finally ends at Lapataia Bay. From here, the return to Ushuaia begins, making a stop on the way to admire Lake Acigami (former Lake Roca), whose weather changes the water’s color. Afternoon at leisure to continue discovering the destination. If you are a nature lover, we suggest you should visit Martillo Island, one of the few sites where it is possible to walk with Papuan penguins. Check the available options according to your trip date. [B]
